2. Webdev Solutions

Webdev (Pvt) Ltd is one of Zimbabwe’s leading web hosting, online marketing, e-commerce, online payments and web development company, with offices in Harare and Bulawayo.

If you run a big business and not afraid to break the bank, We highly recommend WebDev. It’s also a great option for WordPress hosting, Email Hosting and VPS solutions. We have to admit, their pricing structure is a bit confusing, it takes a couple of minutes to actual understand the fees accordingly and what you will be paying for.

Customer service is a little less traditional: email support is available 24/7, but live chat is only on during business hours, atleast that’s what we have concluded after making our research.

3. Webzim Hosting

Webzim offers all the hosting essentials you need at a slightly higher price, If you don’t need a complex website, go with Webzim. Their packages are tailored for those with a limited need for hosting resources, i.e Storage is limited to just 10GB on their most expensive package and we noticed their a inode limitation in place.

Unlike some hosts, Webzim only offers Email Support, Tickets and Sometimes calls, but no 24/7 live chat.  If you want a hosting plan that’s manageable and includes medium support, this is the host for you.

Overall, this is a great web host for simple deployment and uses like a company website that doesn’t necessarily see a ton of traffic each month.

Whatever your preference, Cyberplexafrica works harder than most to help keep your site running smoothly. There’s Zendesk support on the website, we assume it works and they do respond on time.

10. PnrHost Hosting

PnrHost is one of the best Website Hosting providers in Zimbabwe and offer services like Domains, Website hosting, Email Hosting and SSL Certificates. You can resell more powerful VPS plans from as little as $5.00/mo.

Unlike the more consumer-oriented competition, PNRHost doesn’t focus on cutting corners to hit some spectacular headline price. Instead, it builds fast and top-quality products first, and then just charges you whatever they happen to be worth. Their least priced shared hosting plan starts from $4.99 25 GB Storage.

Whatever your preference, PnrHost works harder than most to help keep your site running smoothly. There’s 24/7 phone, email, tickets, a support website, and Whatsapp.

What else should I consider when picking a web host?

Three or four-year hosting plans can have appealingly low prices, but they don’t always work out. If you’re unhappy with a host, or your site grows and the old plan can’t handle the increased traffic, you may have to buy something else early. It’s safer to sign up for a year (or even less), at least initially, and perhaps choose a VPS or similar plan where it’s easy to add more resources as required.

Uptime (the percentage of the day that your website is available) is a key stat for any serious website. If a potential customer can’t find or use your website, at best they’ll think you’re unprofessional, at worst they’ll give up on you entirely and go elsewhere.

Web hosting providers often quote uptime figures such as ‘99.9%’, but these don’t always cover the issues you might expect. Check the small print carefully for any hidden catches.
